What you need to know about camp!

Please do not opt out of our emails. This is our main for of communication to our families and if you are opted out you will not receive any emails from us. If you are not receiving emails please notify us via text by sending your email information and we will update your account.
What does your camper need?
1) What to wear? Please bring a leotard or fitted t-shirt and shorts. We highly recommend crocs or sandals, no socks.
2) Dress up according to our weekly theme every Friday (summer camp only)
3) Wednesdays are Wacky. Dress in your wildest outfits on Wednesday (summer camp only)
4) If you bring additional sweater etc, please bring a small backpack to store your clothes and put your name on everything.
5) Bring a labeled water bottle and afternoon snack. We do provide a program lunch during summer only however we are not able to make any alterations to the menu. If your child has any food restrictions or restrictions please provide a lunch. Our camp is very active so please me mindful when packing food. For one day camps and weekly camps during the school year, please provide lunch and snack. If you child is in our full or extended day please provide additional snacks. We only provide lunch for summer camps.
Registration Process:
1) Our camp will run at a limited capacity and walk ins are not guaranteed. Pre-register online to guaranteed your child's space.
2) If you have a question or concern, we ask you to text, call or email us. Text or call 305-944-4277. Please limit questions during carpool drop off and pick up so we can keep the line moving and properly supervise the children in our care.
3) Don’t forget to let us know who is allowed to pick up your child. If they are not on our authorized pick up list, we will not be able to release them. You can also log into the Gym Kidz portal and update your account online. Please check your account prior to camp starting and make sure everyone picking up is aware they must have an ID with them. Please be prepared with your ID at pick up every day.

We have an app: For a seamless registration process we highly recommend you download our custom Gym Kidz app. From here you can register for all Gym Kidz programs as well asvview all transactions, registration history and update information.

Drop-off: Drop off will start @ 8:15am-8:45am
All campers must be dropped off at the front door using our curb side drop off by 9am. We ask all families to drop off on or before 9am, if you drop off later please knock or text our text line and a team member will greet you at the door. Our mornings are very busy and you may need to wait a couple minutes for our admin team to answer in the morning. The parking lot is busy, a Gym Kidz attendant will be there to help direct traffic and assist your child out of the car and into the gym. Please do not let your child walk to the door without being escorted by a Gym Kidz staff member or adult. If you drop off late or pick up early please ring the doorbell and a staff member will help you.

2) Children wash/sanitize their hands frequently. High traffic areas will be sanitized often throughout the day.

4) We are asking parents to refrain from entering the facility. For safety and security reasons, we ask all parents to drop off your child and allow our staff members to take it from there. Parents are not allowed to stay for camp.
5) If your child had any allergies, food restrictions or prior injuries please notify our staff daily during drop off daily. . Please make sure this information is updated on your portal.
What do we need to know about the camp day?
1) We have refillable water fountains where campers can refill water bottles. We have a hydration station where our campers leave bottles for the day (please put name on everything). We provide Lunch during summer camp only. If you are participating in any camps throughout the school year please provide both lunch and two snacks. If you are in extended day please provide additional snacks. . We are an active camp we recommend sending more snacks that you normally would in a school setting.
2) Children will not be able to use phones or tablets during the camp day, we are not able to monitor internet on personal devices so they are not allowed to be used in camp. They can keep them in their bags but will not be able to use them during camp day.
3) Notify us of any concerns, issues etc. our staff needs to be aware of in order to properly care for your child. This can be updated on our portal or discussed with a team member at drop off.
4) If your child has any medical needs (EPI pen, allergies medicine, etc.) please let our Gym Kidz front desk know and provide us with an EPI pen if needed. Please note that we are not able to administer medicine. If your child has a food allergy please notify our front desk so we can provide your child with an allergy band (this will be required daily).
5) If you or your child has any questions or concerns please contact our front desk personnel and she will direct you to or contact the appropriate person to help with your question and/or concerns. Text us 754-260-1278 or call us 305-944-4277.
6) Lunch is provided for summer camp only. If you are are enrolled in any other one of our camps please provide all lunch and snacks for your child.. If you child has any food restrictions you must pack your child’s lunch and snacks full and extended day only (please put your child’s name on all belongings). We have an active day, please make sure you send enough food and drinks for the day. Reminder: Notify our staff of any allergies.
7) Our lunch and snack time is on a staggered schedule.
8) The equipment will be wiped down frequently throughout the day. Children will be asked to sanitize their hands frequently.
Pick up and Sign out policy:
1) All authorized pick-ups must show a valid picture ID. Our staff members WILL NOT release your child unless the authorized pick up has a valid ID.
2) If you need to make any adjustments to the authorized pick up list, please indicate the person authorized to pick up on the sign in sheet or log onto our Gym Kidz Portal. You can always text us.
3) Prior to leaving, make sure your child has his/her belongings.
4) Drive through pick up. Our 12pm and 3pm dismissal is via carpool/drive through pick up. Please make a line in the carpool lane and we will bring your child to the car. Our staff members will have a sign out sheet that needs to be signed daily.
In order to properly dismiss all students from camp we will not dismiss any campers from 2:20-2:45. During this time we are organizing all of our campers/bags/shoes for dismissal. If you arrive between 2:20-2:45 please wait in the carpool line until we start pick up.

5) Post your childs pick up paperwork on your windshield during pick up. This will help speed up the pick up process.
Late Pick-up Policy:
1) Half day pick up starts at 11:45 and ends at 12:10 pm via carline. Full day camper pick up starts at 2:45 and ends at 3:10pm via carline. Extended day campers must be picked up by 5:30pm (no carline). Campers picked up after 12:15 or 3:15pm will be charged with the extended day fee. After 5:30pm campers will be charged $15 every 15 minutes.
2) If you are going to be late, please call us or text us.
Discounts/Early Bird Specials will be available for weekly camp only. We do not offer refunds for missed camp days and it includes sick days. The space is held for your child and we do not offer refunds.

There are no charges for transfers as long as they are requested two weeks prior to the camps start date.
Cancellation will be approved on or before May 15th summer camp. ($75 cancellation fee will apply)
Any cancellations after deadline of May 15 will not be refunded.
No refunds for camp strictly enforced
Winter and spring break refund policy:
Cancellations will be approved 30 days prior to the start date of camp. And cancellations after the deadline will not be refunded.
